The benefit of the soybean



Soy has been known since 3500 years ago and became the basic ingredient of the foods in East Asia.
Soy is a source of vegetable protein and vegetable oil,some of the products processed from soybeans is soybean oil,soy sauce,tofu and soy milk.
There are two types of soybeans are cultivated,the black beans and yellow soybeans.
Black and yellow soybeans are rich in protein,fat,vitamins,minerals,fiber and amino acids.
Soybeans have the most complete nutrition and balanced compared to the type of glass the other nuts.
Soybeans have a good benefit to the body when in intake,some of the benefits of soy are:
1. Fight free radicals
Soybeans contain isoflavones compounds and high anti-oxidant that can improve health.
Anti-oxidants and isoflavones are useful to improve the body's cells and prevent cell damage from free radicals caused by sunlight pollution.
2. Preventing heart disease
Protein and isoflavones contained in soy helps reduce LDL cholesterol and reduce blood clotting that causes heart disease and stroke.
Consuming soy milk for 9 weeks will lower LDL cholesterol as much as 5%.
3. Against cancer
Isoflavones contained in soy is useful as an anti-cancer that will fight cancer cells and protect against cervical cancer,breast cancer and prostate cancer.
4. Reducing the effects of endometriosis
Consuming soy on a regular basis will delay the action of the hormone estrogen in the body that is responsible for triggering pain or heavy bleeding during menstruation in women.
5. Prevent osteoporosis
Protein contained in soybean will help the absorption of calcium that can prevent osteoporosis.
6. Reducing pain during menopause
Isoflavone compounds help regulate the estrogen hormone to reduce the burning sensation in the body in postmenopausal women.
7. Controlling diabetes and kidney disease
Protein and soluble fiber in soybeans is useful to regulate blood glucose levels and kidney filtration to control diabetes and kidney disease.
8. Weight control
High fiber content in soybean is useful for weight management.
Soybeans also contain low glycemic index which regulates blood sugar and insulin fluctuations that can help to control hunger.
