DENGUE FEVER

STATISTICS
Two-fifths of the world's population at risk of dengue fever.
According to the WHO world health body,occurred 50 million dengue infections worldwide every year.
South East Asia and Western Pacific are most seriously infected with dengue fever.
An estimated 500 million people in the world,most of the children hospitalized for dengue fever and about 2.5 percent died.
Without proper treatment,dengue fever death rate more than 20 percent.
If symptoms recognized and treated immediately,the death rate could hit to less than 1 percent.

AEDES MOSQUITO
Dengue virus is transmitted through the bite of female Aedes mosquito.
Mosquitoes acquire the virus while sucking the blood of an infected person dengue fever.
After 8-10 days incubation period,infected mosquitoes that can transmit the virus during his life when sucking human blood.
People become infected with the virus carriers and multipliers dengue fever. incubation of the virus in the blood for 2 to 7 days,when someone has a fever. Mosquitoes acquire the virus while biting a fever.
Aedes mosquito breeding in places where water reservoirs,such as containers of ceramic,metal drums,like clean water storage,plastic containers,used tires,and others.
Extermination was not enough to prevent the larva from the house and freed water reservoir,but also have to exterminate mosquitoes.

SYMPTOMS
Symptoms of dengue fever such as flu.
Toddlers,children,and adults can be affected.
The characteristics of this disease varies,depending on the age of the patient. Toddlers and children suffering from fever with skin red spots.
Adults can be high fever,headache,pain behind the eyes,sore muscles/joints,skin and reddish spots.
Dengue fever would be deadly if marked high fever,liver enlargement,and in very severe cases,the failure of blood circulation.
This disease often begins with an increase in body temperature with a reddish face. High fever continued 2 to 7 days,can reach 41 degrees Celsius.
Sometimes convulsions and so was another complication.

TREATMENT
Handling by experienced doctors and nurses could save the lives of patients.
The key is to guard the volume of fluid circulating in the body of the patient.
